# Test Page Index ## What this thing is: This test page is to see if it's possible (and feasible) to centralize serving the layout and/or markup on a site without any server-side support. ## Why this is a thing: I build websites for a living, so it's nice practice; but ultimately it's because attempting to maintain a completely static site layout across many pages is maximum faff. So I figured if the server is not playing ball; let's try client side. As part of my website living building earning sites on the web™, however, I'm painfully aware that most websites fall *far* below the minimum acceptable (and in this country, legal) standards for accessibility. It's something I care about not just for myself (my eyesight is a bit naff), but many people that I care about have some manner of disability that affects their ability to internet. JavaScript and accessibility aren't exactly bedfellows, hence this experiment!
